Interested in Working As an Independent Contractor?
Let's work together
Art of Resolution is looking for independent contractors (ICs) to join our team of skilled EEO professionals.
An IC in the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) field is a trained professional who provides investigation or counseling services on a contract basis. ICs operate independently, manage their own schedules, and are responsible for meeting the requirements of each assignment with professionalism and objectivity.
We are seeking individuals with prior experience conducting EEO investigations, counseling, or drafting accept/dismiss decisions and Final Agency Decisions (FADs). If you are new to the field, we offer a comprehensive 32-hour EEO Investigator Training Program so you can become certified.
If you’re interested in working with Art of Resolution as an IC, please submit your updated resume to admin@artofresolution.com. Make sure to include your EEO investigator certification and highlight any relevant experience in conducting investigations or utilizing investigator skills.
What we're Looking For
We have found that successful ICs demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
1. Availability: Responsive to inquiries during core business hours.
2. Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in the latest Outlook, Word, and Excel versions.
3. PDF Tools: Skilled in using PDF converter tools like Adobe Pro or Nuance for tasks such as pagination, extraction, bookmarking, and combining PDF files.
4. Dropbox: Familiarity with Dropbox (DB) and ability to navigate the platform efficiently.
5. Scanning and Faxing: Knowledgeable about scanning methods and able to send/receive faxes electronically.
What To Expect
If you accept an offer from us to complete the administrative paperwork for an assignment, please note that while we routinely receive cases, not every case is suitable for a new investigator. Contracts require different levels of experience, which may affect initial placement. As a result, there may be a brief waiting period before your first assignment, depending on case volume and alignment with your background. We aim to minimize this and appreciate your patience as we find a suitable case.
We also encourage you to join our LinkedIn group, “Certified Federal Sector EEO Investigator Group,” and expand your professional network as an investigator.
We look forward to potentially working together in the future.
